Welcome To The Zen Bar
Welcome to The Zen Bar! I’m Melinda Spears and I’m so excited to share my passion for Wellness with my community. I have worked in the medical field since 2005 and somewhere around 2007, when my first born came along, my husband and I began our health and wellness journey. We have seen what investing in our health has done for our family, and I would like to share a “Peace” of that with you all.
While searching for remedies for my chronic sinus issues, a health care provider and a friend introduced me to the healing benefits of ozone therapy. I then found a full spectrum ozone therapy clinic in Dallas. After several round trips I quickly grew annoyed with commuting and had a brilliant idea to bring a slice of Dallas to my hometown. I am passionate about helping others, and I hope it shows in the work I am excited and prepared to do here at The Zen Bar.
Potential Benefits Of Ozone Therapy
Boost Your Immune System
Ozone therapy has the potential to modify the immune system to better cope with inflammation. Many people suffer from conditions that cause inflammation. For example, inflammatory markers are often found in the blood of asthmatics. Inflammation can lead to oxidative stress and is associated with pain and discomfort.
Antibacterial, Antifungal, And Antiviral Abilities
With so many bacteria becoming antibiotic-resistant, scientists have been looking for new means of dealing with bacterial infections along with novel treatments for fungal and viral infections.
Reverse Damage To Brain Tissue After A Stroke
When you have a stroke, the affected area of the brain begins to lose its crucial oxygen supply, causing hypoxia (an absence of enough oxygen in the tissues to sustain bodily functions) of the surrounding brain cells. This area of damage is known as the “penumbra.”
Lower The Risk Of Repeat Heart Attacks
Ozone therapy could reduce the risk of a repeat heart attack and the development of an infarction (tissue death due to lack of oxygen) or arrhythmia (an abnormal or irregular heartbeat) after a heart attack.
A September 2018 study reported that therapeutic ozone therapy is “making strides” in the successful management and treatment of musculoskeletal disorders.
It’s nearly impossible to avoid exposure to all toxins and heavy metals. These impurities affect how your body functions, damage your health, inhibit the immune system, and impact your body’s recovery speed.
